Tips of using this motion-activated soap dispenser:

1.  Remove the battery compartment at the base and insert 4 AAA batteries, then replace. 
2. Remove the cap at the top, fill the soap chamber with liquid soap/lotion, replace the liquid and tighten it securely.
3. Turn the dial at the bottom clockwise, turn the switch to get more soap/lotion.
4. Place your hand under the sensor to automatically dispense soap.  (To turn off, twist to the "OFF"position).
